Originally known as Masterstudies Marketing Group (MMG), we evolved to become Keystone Academic Solutions in 2015 as a reflection of the expansion of our marketing efforts to cover all areas of higher education. In 2020, Keystone now represents eight individual education brands, including Bachelorstudies and Onlinestudies – with more to come in the near future.

About the role

Our content team is looking for a passionate localization manager to drive the localization strategy and roadmap for the translation of our products and services.

Our ideal candidate is a localization industry professional with a number of years managing similar programs under their belt. They will be the go-to person for all things translation at Keystone, and will provide guidance and offer best practices advice to all departments, in an international and culturally diverse workplace. Familiarity working with developers and UX design teams on internationalization issues is a big plus. They should be comfortable working autonomously and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.


The position is full-time based in Fornebu, Norway

Start date: April 2020 or ASAP

  • Own the end-to-end localization program for the translation of websites, SaaS products, and marketing materials
  • Continuously work on the optimization of workflows and processes to improve translation quality, time-to-market, and cost reduction
  • Maintain the TMS platform and keep up-to-date with new feature releases
  • Manage LQA processes
  • Maintenance of glossaries, style guides, and translation memories
  • Department budget control
  • Translation resource scheduling and project management
  • Vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Research and advise on growth opportunities in new markets
  • Contribute to source copy editing and optimization for translation


  • 3+ years experience in localization
  • In-depth knowledge of internationalization, localization, and translation best practices
  • Solid understanding of software development processes
  • Experience with website and software UI translation, and their various file formats
  • Experience using and maintaining TMS and CMS platforms, and CAT tools
  • Previous experience working with MT, including MTPE and NMT 
  • Experience creating LQA processes to ensure high translation quality
  • Experience with Google Analytics, data analysis, and market research
  • Multilingual SEO knowledge
  • Familiar with bug tracking software, such as Asana or Jira
  • Business-level fluency in English and at least one other language
  • Degree in a relevant field, or an additional 2+ years work experience
  • Knowledge of HubSpot a bonus
